Like it or not, sometimes war is the only option.
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible,
will make violent revolution inevitable."
- John F. Kennedy
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil
is for good men to do nothing."
- Edmund Burke
"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark;
the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."
- Plato
"The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience,
but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"No matter how great the evil,
those who profit from it will not stop it."
- Herbert M. Shelton
"Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity."
- Horace Mann
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty
[and freedom] than to those attending too small a degree of it"
- Thomas Jefferson, to Archibald Stuart, 1791
"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."
- Winston Churchill
"The world is a dangerous place to live;
not because of the people who are evil,
but because of the people
who don't do anything about it."
- Albert Einstein
"We will never forget" ..
Yet how quickly even those words have been replaced by the
cowardly rhetoric of a society bereft of decency and moral fibre.
While men and women of honor and valor put their lives at risk
for the sake of millions of strangers, a world consumed by
political correctness tries to sidestep its responsibilities,
having failed yet again to heed history. Mesmerized by its own
narcissism, the mindless mob preaches passivity in the face
of evil, seeking the path of least resistance over action,
principles, and integrity.
There is something terribly wrong with a civilization which berates,
belittles, and condemns those who choose to defend the helpless
and innocent against evil, brutality, and tyranny.
